The collection of all incidents in which all or most existing contacts between a Person and the circle of their acquaintances (see acquaintedWith) are severed, so that the majority of their close friends, associates, colleagues, business partners, etc. do not know where they are or what is happening to them. Instances should be considered to begin with the 'severing-of-ties' and extend for as long as the condition of general ignorance among affiliates persists. Instances may or may not be carried out deliberately by the person who does the disappearing.
